Mount Rainier was fabulous!
Push the arrow to the left to see a funny video of the big kids 'sledding!'
We had a great week in Seattle, Washington, visiting the Museum of Flight, the Future of Flight and Boeing Factory Tour, the Discovery Science Museum, the Aquarium, the Space Needle day and night, the Zoo, taking a harbor cruise and playing in the snow at Mount Rainier, which is where the first picture was taken. The second one is a video of Pam racing down the hill and colliding with Karl, who just couldn't go as fast. Oops!! The temperature was a comfortable 70 degrees, but the snow was cold! You see that airplanes were a focal point for us, because Jonathan was with us! You see him studying the sea planes, deboarding the Air Force One, then we were able to enjoy God's creation full of large trees, snowy mountains, and beautiful rivers. Our favorite story was one of running out of gas, but it being no problem. Ask if you want details! : ) All in all, we had a blast, and surely didn't mind the temperatures being 30 degrees lower than in Texas in July. It never rained, and was a fabulous week!
Rolling down the hills at the zoo, then sledding down Mount Rainier were highlights for us, as we all acted like children. Isn't that what vacations are all about??
The next video is of the Fish Throwin' at Pike Place Market, and the last is my little gerbils at the Science Museum.

Keri decided to be in the Strings group at school this year, so we rented her first violin at 8 pm yesterday. It is a 1/4 size--very small! She decided to figure out how to play it on her own tonight, and she and Jonathan have played their first duet! While I am posting this, they are learning more songs and perfecting this one.
