Mom's Lemon Ice Box Pie
3 eggs, separated
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup lemon juice
Combine egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well. Add lemon juice. Pour into prepared graham cracker crust. Use egg whites for meringue and brown in 350 oven.For meringue beat egg whites until stiff. Add 2 tablespoons sugar for each egg white. Add to egg white 2 tablespoons at a time beating well after each. Continue to beat until all sugar is dissolved completely. After browning let pie sit in warm oven with door open for a while.That helps stop the bubbles from forming on the meringue.
